Overview of the role
To coordinate and maintain all Market related research and company validations with regards to external companies providing services including Design, Fit Out Contractors, Production & Manufacturing, Facilities Management, Material Suppliers relevant to all MENA Regions for Retail Store Development
What you will do
Design Architectural
- Research based on the Al Futtaim set of criteria all current
- Design Agencies providing Design services in Concept Design and Detail Design Technical Drawings in the UAE
- Research Multi-disciplinary Design Agencies specialising in Industrial Design, Furniture Design, Graphic Design, Branding & Signage Design, MEP Design, Digital Video Design, 3D
- Model Building in UAE Research International Standard local Design Agencies
operating in Non-UAE Markets on Architectural and MEP Design
- Coordinate through Group Central Procurement the verification and listing as ‘Preferred Service Providers’ based on AF due diligence process to be shortlisted
- Create and maintain a Digital Data Base on all companies researched and, who follow the AF RSD required standards through the due diligence process on short listing
Civil & MEP Fit Out
- Update and maintain the current Data Base on General Contractors specializing in Retail Civil and MEP Fit Out Services
- Research new General Contractors operating and providing services in the various markets that AF retail is currently trading in
- Coordinate through Group Central Procurement the verification and listing as ‘Preferred Service Providers’ based on AF due diligence process to be shortlisted
Production & Manufacturing & Supplies
- Research suitable companies currently providing services in Fixture and Furniture Manufacturing Research suitable companies currently providing production and manufacturing of services on Audio Visual (AV), Security, External Façade & Shopfront Signage
- Update and maintain current Data Base on suppliers
- specializing in Kitchen Equipment, Display Materials, Indoor Landscaping, speciality F&B equipment
AF Pre-Qualification and ‘Preferred’ shortlist Verification
- Coordinate and set up a quality pre-qualification process through Group Central Procurement to ensure a consistent approach to external Vender and Service provider short listing
- Retain ongoing communication and relationship with shortlisted companies with regards to any operational changes and diversification of services
Procurement Support
Support with Follow -ups on RFI’s and Order Status in coordination with RSD Procurement Manager

- Computer literacy, knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint & SAP
- Contract negotiation skills

- A results-driven personality who values teamwork as an integral part of getting great results
What equips you for the role
- Bachelor’s Degree in business administration or related field
- 5 working in a construction / interior fit out environment either from the contractor or client’s side. Previous experience in Market Research, Data Base Management for the construction / Retail fit out industry
