Mechanical Engineer – site experience required

The Mechanical Site Engineer is responsible for supervising and monitoring mechanical works on site, ensuring that all executed works comply with approved drawings, technical specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements. Key Responsibilities and Specific Accountabilities: Supervise the execution of mechanical works on site as per approved drawings and specifications. Monitor HVAC, plumbing, firefighting systems, and other mechanical works based on the project scope. Inspect executed works and ensure compliance with technical and quality requirements. Support the inspection, testing, and handover process at different project stages. Coordinate with contractors and site teams to resolve technical comments and site issues. Ensure that site activities are carried out in line with safety and quality requirements. Prepare daily or periodic reports on work progress and site observations. Report any deviations from drawings or specifications to the team concerned. Support engineers in verifying the readiness of mechanical works for approval.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a specialized technical diploma/institute certificate in a related field. 3-5years of experience in supervising mechanical or electrical works on site. Saudi nationality is required. Experience in Saudi Arabia is preferred. Previous experience in the private sector is preferred. Ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical drawings. Experience in monitoring executed works according to approved drawings and specifications.
