Sr MEP Lead Engineer

To lead and manage the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) engineering scope across all phases of project design, coordination, and execution. The role ensures technical excellence, regulatory compliance, and integration of MEP systems within the overall project framework. The Sr MEP Lead Engineer is responsible for supervising design reviews, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, overseeing site implementation, and resolving technical issues to ensure timely, cost-effective, and high-quality project delivery. Additionally, the role supports team development, safety adherence, and continuous improvement in MEP engineering practices. Responsibilities/Duties Profil de candidat recherché : Leadership & Team Management Lead and oversee the MEP Engineering Team throughout all stages of design and construction. Mentor and guide Jr engineers, ensuring continuous technical development and knowledge transfer within the team. Design Review & Technical Validation Review, validate, and provide approvals on all MEP engineering drawings, technical specifications, and coordination layouts. Ensure designs align with local regulations, international standards, and client requirements. Evaluate and approve method statements, material submittals, and shop drawings for compliance and constructability. Coordination & Integration Coordinate the MEP scope with other engineering disciplines, ensuring seamless integration throughout the project lifecycle. Collaborate with contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders to resolve design or interface issues.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering. Fluent in English and Arabic, French is a plus. Knowledge Strong knowledge of HVAC, fire protection, power distribution, ELV, and plumbing systems. Familiarity with MEP design software such as AutoCAD MEP, Revit, and BIM tools.
