Industrial Design Team Leader

We are seeking an innovative and experienced Industrial Design Team Leader to spearhead our design initiatives . In this role, you will lead a team of designers in creating functional and aesthetically pleasing construction products while ensuring compliance with industry standards and trends. Your leadership will contribute to the development of market-leading solutions that enhance the performance and sustainability of our projects. RESPONSIBILITIES Lead and mentor the industrial design team in the development of innovative design solutions for construction-related products. Collaborate with engineering and product management teams to ensure designs meet technical specifications and business objectives. Conduct market research and analysis to understand user needs and market trends, ensuring designs are competitive and user-friendly. Oversee the design process from concept through to final production, managing timelines, budgets, and resources effectively. Present design concepts and prototypes to stakeholders and gather feedback for continuous improvement. Ensure all designs adhere to safety standards and regulations within the construction industry. Foster a creative and collaborative team environment, encouraging professional development and continuous learning.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus. A minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial design, with at least 2 years in a leadership role. Proficient in design software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite. Strong understanding of materials and manufacturing processes specific to the construction industry. Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Proven experience in managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on team collaboration and client engagement.
